I first met AJ in our interviews for the Student Orientation Leader team 2019. We had our group interview with each other, and I was quickly impressed with the potential AJ had to be a leader on this campus. I was happy to find out that AJ and I were chosen to be SOLs. During training we didn't get the chance to interact much, but he was a friendly face and a positive light within our sessions.

As I have come to know AJ more through our SOL summer and UCBA Ambassadorship, I can confidently say AJ is a very entertaining human being. From the get go, he made it very clear that he "liked to dance" and loved to laugh. He enjoys getting our team together to go out to dinner after long days and makes sure everyone feels included. AJ is talented, easy-going, and a great conversationalist. We can be sure to count on him to help us out in a pinch, teach us something new, or give us a goofy moment. Without AJ, our team would not be as close-knit as we are.

Moving forward, I can see AJ going very far in life due to his personality, skill sets, and genuine care for others. Any work place, occupation, or field would be lucky to have AJ on their team. He will succeed at anything he puts his mind and heart to, and I hope he knows that he has the capacity to change the world we live in. He is a blessing to me and the UCBA Ambassador Team.
