Week 5: February 9 - February 15

This week was laid back yet productive, all at once! We multiple Student Ambassador events that all of us could help out with, and we had a lot of activity on campus! Our classes are picking up with first exams and upcoming midterms, and we have the study room booking website in our bookmarks! This week I took part in tabling and a read-in, an Ambassador Meeting and Welcome Desk shift.

In order to be a servant leader, I sat at the equity and inclusion table and encouraged students to take the campus climate survey. Not many students had the time to take it on sight, but they took the flyer. We were also able to hand out buttons and pens, which people seemed to enjoy. Sometimes tabling can be difficult because not many people want to be stopped on their way to class, so we don't always get responsive students. However, it is really great when we do get occasional students who really want to learn more about what we are tabling about.

In Spanish, we are learning when to use the Preterite and Imperfect tense. In Research Methods, we are learning about experiments after taking our first exam of the semester. In Race and Environment, we were assigned our service learning project.

A fun week for sure!
