Week 14: December 1 - December 7

This week was the first hectic week in a while. That's the week before Finals Week for you! Everyone is rushing around to complete last minute hour requirements, finish class assignments and study for exams. This week I managed to find time to do all sorts of events! I had a Welcome Desk shift, an ambassador meeting, Daniel's Sustainability Event, a New Student Orientation (paid), and an advising tour.

This week has been filled with servant leadership opportunities. Despite having reached my 100 hour requirement, I have surpassed that in order to help better serve our college and continue being the face of the college, despite the hours not being personally needed. It is always nice to give back, even if I am no longer receiving credited hours, because it is a duty to be upheld by myself and my fellow ambassadors.

In class, I had a Psychology Lab exam, a Development exam and paper, a Research Methods and Statistics term paper, and a Spanish exam to prep for. It has been fast-paced and productive.

Quote of the Week:

"You gain strength, courage,

and confidence

by every experience

in which

you really stop

to look fear in the face. Do the thing you think you cannot do." - Eleanor Roosevelt
