Week 10: October 27 - November 2
This week was a fun one, as it was Halloween on Thursday! I was able to assist Emma and Duha, our Student Life Liaisons, host the Halloween Bash! I worked a welcome desk shift, a few Admissions shifts, and overall had a filled but entertaining week.
The Halloween Bash was super engaging for students. They were able to sign up for our costume contest, decorate pumpkins, eat snacks, make bracelets, and pose in our photo both. The event seemed to go over well, as many people stopped to check out our activities.
I served my student leadership this week by putting up decoration for the Halloween Bash. Setting up events definitely take a lot of time and effort, but the outcome is always worth it! To see everyone so excited for the event, really showed that the hard work put in was paid off.
In Research Methods and Statistics class, we are sending out our research survey. In Developmental Psychology, we are starting a group project on infants and young children. In Spanish, we started a new chapter about places in the city.
It has been such a long week, and I am hopeful to get rest this weekend!
