Week 12: November 10 - November 16

This week kicked off in a snowy wonderland! 20 degrees colder, and the winter months are making their debut. This week was a more relaxed one, as I had two Ambassador events and a few Admissions shifts. My Spanish professor is in Spain this week so we haven't had Spanish class meetings this week. It gave me some extra time to catch a breath!

This week I was the Ambassador for Mason High School. Stephen and I were able to manage 40+ high school seniors on a successful college tour. They were able to apply, view a Student Life engagement presentation, and be taken on campus tours by Stephen and I. They seemed very engaged and asked a lot of questions pertaining to each of their intended majors. It felt refreshing to tour students who were genuinely interested in their next step to higher education.

I participated in Servant Leadership by adjusting our plans for the tour. The schedule didn't go as planned, but I was able to work with Brooke in order to create a comprehensive time table that worked for the high school's group time slot. We were able to serve them pizza and drinks as well!

In class, we had a Research Methods exam on Friday and a Developmental Psychology online exam with an APA style paper on adolescence due Saturday. We had a break in Spanish homework and it has been nice to have a more relaxed week.
